About Ken Givens

Ken Givens began making music at age eight, inventing

songs to entertain his little brother. A talent for composing

came naturally so he began experimenting

with recording at an early age.

Born in San Antonio and raised in an Air Force family,

Ken often moved about which provided for a diversity of

cultures and influences from which to build his compositions.

By age 15, he began singing and playing for churches. His

Christian roots can still be found in his work, but don’t try to box him in with any one type of genre.

Ken Given's years of professional experience include production, composing, sound design, engineering, editing, studio recording and live performance. He has composed for video and film, experienced in gaming narrative, and sound design, editing and ADR but his first love will always be in crafting emotional and heartfelt musical energies.
